Your role

As Junior Maintenance Advisor you will be part of the Advisory team and more specifically the Technical Maintenance Team. This team supports our clients during the alignment of technical installations and performance of their buildings with the needs of the company. Main activities in this domain are: strategy determination, inventory, condition assessment, technical analysis, multi-year budgeting, format specifications.

Your main responsibilities

  • Inventory
    Inventory concerns the registration of all technical installations and elements of a building which need maintenance. Depending on the needs of the client, this can be very detailed and profound. In practice this means you will be doing the following:

    • Tour on the domain to note all the necessary data of the technical installations (serial numbers, type,…) and of the constructional parts (type of roofing, number of m²).
    • Take pictures.
    • Register all the data in a structured excel or via an app on a mobile device (iPad).
  • Condition Assessment
    Condition Assessment aims to describe the condition of the technical installations and building in an objective way. MCS uses mostly the NEN2767 approach (a Dutch methodology). In practice this means you will be doing the following:

    • Note all machine defects and constructional defects during a tour (according to the NEN-2767 methodology).
    • Document these defects by means of pictures
    • Register all the data in a structured excel or via an app on a mobile device (iPad).
  • Technical analysis
    Along with the condition assessment a functional technical analysis is often asked for.
    During this analysis all technical installations are tested to examine whether they meet the set expectations. In practice this means you will be doing the following:

    • Measuring flows, noise levels …
    • Thermography
    • Register all the data in a structured excel


  • Technical degree (construction, climate technologies, electricity, electromechanics,…)
  • Practical knowledge of technical installations (also recent graduates are welcome)
  • Accuracy
  • Knowledge of and experience with MS Office (Excel)
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, knowledge of French and English is a plus
  • Work independently, due to the different locations of the client
